BIOGRAPHY
Heidi Sturgess is a freelance illustrator, artist and designer based in London. Heidi established her own design brand in 2001, which has a loyal international clientele. The brand is known for its original, distinctive designs, colourful products and beautiful prints and artwork. Heidi’s work predominantly features botanical and nature themes and Heidi works in traditional media, digital and 3D formats.
After graduating with a BA Hons in 3D Design & Contemporary Jewellery in 1992, Heidi worked as head of design in several companies on international projects before starting her own business in 2001. Heidi has been designing and drawing from a very young age and at 15 years old, she won a competition to design a storyboard for an Alvin Stardust pop video on Saturday Superstore. Heidi and her winning video were rediscovered in 2011 by North One TV and have been featured on Britain’s Favourite Christmas Songs on Channel 5 every Christmas since.
